Overview

Upgrading your SEO Crawler plan is simple and takes effect immediately. This guide covers how to upgrade, what happens to your account, and how billing works.

How to Upgrade

Open Billing Settings

Navigate to Settings → Billing in your dashboard.

Click Change Plan

In the Current Plan section, click Change Plan.

Select New Plan

Choose your new plan from the available options:

Enter Payment

If upgrading from Free, enter your payment method. Otherwise, we’ll use your existing payment method.

Review the summary and click Upgrade Now.

Upon upgrade, you immediately get:

Prorated charge:
  Pro daily rate: $49 / 30 = $1.63/day
  Solo daily rate: $19 / 30 = $0.63/day
  Difference: $1.00/day × 15 days = $15.00

You'll be charged $15.00 today.
Next full charge: $49.00 on your regular billing date.

To switch from monthly to annual:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Switch to Annual
  3. Review the prorated credit from your current period
  4. Confirm the annual charge

Team Plans

Adding Team Members (Pro/Agency)

After upgrading to Pro or Agency:
  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Select their role:
    • Viewer: View reports only
    • Editor: Run crawls, view reports
    • Admin: Full access except billing

After Upgrading

Verify New Limits

Check that your new limits are active:
  1. Go to Settings → Usage
  2. Confirm new limits are displayed
  3. New features appear in navigation

Enable New Features

Features unlocked by your upgrade:
  • Enable SEO Analysis in scan options
  • Set up weekly crawl schedules
  • Export your first PDF report

Downgrading

Need to downgrade? See important information:
Downgrading may result in data loss if you exceed the lower plan’s limits.

Before Downgrading

Check that you’re within the new plan’s limits:

Downgrade Process

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select lower plan
  4. Review what you’ll lose
  5. Confirm downgrade
Downgrades take effect at your next billing date—you keep current features until then.

Cancellation

To cancel your paid plan:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Cancel Plan
  3. Select reason (helps us improve)
  4. Confirm cancellation
After cancellation:
  • Access continues until billing period ends
  • Account reverts to Free plan
  • Data is retained per Free plan limits (30 days)

Frequently Asked Questions

No! Upgrading preserves all your data. You only gain access to more features and higher limits.
Yes! You’ll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period, and new features are available immediately.
Contact support within 14 days for a full refund. After 14 days, you can downgrade but won’t receive a refund for the current period.
Yes, all plans auto-renew unless cancelled. We’ll send a reminder email 7 days before renewal.
